The iconic triangular shape represents the UNITY of 3 districts around the project location: Senamiestis Old town, Naujamiestis New town, and Naujininkai districts. The UNITY is not only referring to urban spaces, but also the historical, cultural, ecological, social unity of the three districts. Façade’s design pattern echoes the tradition of Lithuanian textile heritage. Key design considerations included city gate, passenger experience, cultural identity, efficiency, convenience, sustainability, commercial opportunities, and connection to nature.
